Hello!
Wow , we are done with May already?! Lots of things happened in May both good and bad but I'm glad June is finally coming! Also Happy 1st Birthday to my blog!! :) Anyways, since I've been on a no buy, I really didn't purchase any makeup (well, except for IPSY subscription) so I don't really have any new makeup/ skincare favorite. I rediscovered some older favorites while I was decluttering/documenting my collection. Starting this month I will also include my fav snack or lifestyle favorites in my monthly favorite posts. Let's get started.

March 2016 Favorites
Hello April!
The weather has been great the past few weeks here in Vancouver!! I feel like it's time to change up my makeup. skin care routine!! April is going to crazy, finals are coming up but it also mean Summer is coming!!!! Anyways, here's what I have been loving in March.
Simple Replenishing Moisturizer
Sometimes, all you need is the basics. I like how sanitary it is, I don't have to dig my fingers in the products. I love how there's no scent. It is also not greasy, has no after feeling. However, it does get its job done. Long story short, you put it on ->you won't feel that it's on but you see the results. I have sensitive and dehydrated skin, I find that it absorbs quickly into my skin, and my face does not have any reaction to it. I really enjoy a more lightweight, liquid-y formula especially in the mornings and also during warmer days!

February 2016 Favorites
Hello!
This monthly favorites will be a very short one even though we got an extra day in February this year! I was sick for about half of February, so beauty was not on the top of my list. I guess the "theme" for February was to keep it minimal, presentable and fast.
I have really been enjoying the Chanel Le Blanc Light Creator Brightening Makeup Base. It is a yellow tinted liquid makeup base that brightens up my complexion. It also have SPF 35 in it to protect my skin. On the days I don't wear foundation, I will still use this to brighten up my face so my skin doesn't look dull. Then I will dust on some translucent powder to set it and I'm good to go. I really notice a difference when I use this when I was sick it helped me look less like a zombie.
In addition to brightening up my face, I would dust on my Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Blush to make myself look more alive and awake. I really like how natural the colours are when I swirl them together. I did a review on the blush earlier in February, here's the link to the post if you are interested.
Lastly, it's a new product for me. I have been waiting to get my hands on the Sephora Give Me Some Nude Lip Kit. It was sold out for so long and one day I saw two kits at the check out line. From the kit, I finally get to try the Nars Lipstick in Dolce Vita. It is a sheer dusty rose color and I fell in love with the color after the first swatch. I can't believe it took me this long to try out this lipstick. This is definitely an everyday color for me. I find that it enhances my natural lip color, not bold at all. It is not drying and feels comfortable on the lips. Since the color is close to my lip color, I don't have to worry about retouching up though out the day. As it fades, it is not patchy and not that noticeable. Love it!!
Like a said, my aim for February was to keep the makeup minimal, natural looking, and done fast. The 3 products in particular, helped me achieved that, and allowed to be "presentable" even when I am sick. They are definitely a part of my daily routine, especially for school days! I have been testing out a couple new products towards the end of February, they didn't make it to the favourites but you will be hearing about these products soon! Happy March everyone!
Yours Truly,
Ting

January 2016 Favorites
Hello!
As January comes to an end, I'm coming at you with the first monthly favourites of the year. There were lots of new makeup products introduced this month, I got to try a couple new products! I also tried to go through my collection to get rid of some unused product, expired products, and products that do not work for me. During that I rediscovered some forgotten favourites!
Chanel Glossimer in the shade 487 Etincelle
First of all, I am not a lip gloss person but I really like the Chanel Glossimer. They are quite sheer with slight hints of colour. It is very glossy but not sticky at all! This was from the 2015 Holiday collection, I believe you can still get it on Chanel's website, but also check the counters! The shade I have is 487 Etincelle, which is a dark (in the tube) burgundy/ berry colour with gold glitter. On the lips, the colour is not opaque, only a hint of the colour, looks pretty natural! The gold glitter was my biggest concern; however, you don't really feel the glitter on the lips, but the glitter catches the light beautifully. I love this so much because I can put it on without a mirror and because it's sheer, it's low maintenance! It also adds colour to my everyday neutral makeup routine. I also recommend this to someone who wants to try darker colour but is afraid of the "in your face" bold lip colour.
Jordana Lip Pencil in 37 Cabaret
During the colder days when I want a bolder/ darker lip colours I will fill my lips using this liner and add apply the Chanel Glossier on top. This lip liner is less than two dollars but I like it more than some of the higher end lip liners. This stays on the lips without sliding around, bleed but it also does not try out the lips. It is really pigmented, it glides on the lip without tugging. Also, it also doesn't settle in the crease of the lips!
City Color HD Powder
I received this awhile ago in an IPSY bag, I used it a couple times and then forgot about it. I was not used to using loose powders, I find that it gets messy easily. I rediscover this when there was the face "baking"trend on youtube later last year. Since then I have been using this everyday to set my under eyes. Instead of using a big powder face brush, I use smaller brushes so the powder wouldn't go anywhere. I always have problems with my under eyes concealer creasing through out the day, super annoying!!! Now I would put on concealer around the eyes, then lightly dust this powder on the areas with concealer with a fluffy eye brush. Also adding Foxy (pale yellow shade) from Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, on the eye area. Let it set while I do my brows, set my face make up, etc about 5 minutes. I will lightly dust more HD powder on the eye area and pat away some "creasing". I notice my concealer, eye shadow stopped slipping around and stayed all day with this trick. This trick also works making ur lip color last all day!
BareMinerals Powder Foundation
Sometimes I don't want to put on a full face of makeup, or I don't have time to do so. I would just put concealer around my eyes i.e., follow the trick I just talked about, then applying the powder foundation all over. the coverage is amazing! It allows my makeup to look natural while presentable! It saves me so much time!
Chanel Joues Contraste Lumiere Highlighter
I believe this is also from the 2015 Holiday Collection. I'm not sure if this is limited edition, but I hope not! If you read my posts before, you might know I like how my makeup product can be very versatile. I like how I can using my products as many ways possible. For example, I can do almost a full face of makeup using just the Urban Decay Naked Basics. Anyways back to the highlighter. Honestly, I over looked this product when I saw the Holiday Collection. It looks blah to me, I wasn't sure what it is supposed to be, the color is not like a typical highlighter, looks more like a very light bronzer to me. The makeup artist at the counter tried this on me and told me how I can use this product, I was hooked! There are many ways I use this product like I said before. First, I use it as a highlighter on my nose, and the top of my cheek bones. Second, I use it as eyeshadow, it's very neutral and it catches the light. For a quick neutral eye look, I put this on like eyeshadow then I line my eyes and I'm done! Love Love Love this product!!
That's everything I can remember, short and sweet! I really enjoyed January, many things have happened in a positive way! Good start to the year (or am I just biased because it's my birthday month)?! I hope everyone is still enjoying the new year! Share with my what you have been loving for January!

Ting

November 2015 Favorites
Hello!
I hope you all had a great month. I was buried under exams and assignment. I did not get a chance to try a lot of new products this month. instead I found myself using pretty much the same products from previous months. However I did do some shopping during October, I just did not have time to test and play around with them. If you want to see a shopping haul, first impressions or reviews, let me know! Also follow me on Instagram @judyy116 since I usually post Insta Hauls, food etc. more often. You can also get a sneak peak of some upcoming posts there!
1. Nivea Nourishing In-Shower Body Milk
I am the type of person that does not have the patient to put on lotion, wait for it to sink in, then put on clothes. I also do not like the sticky, greasy feeling from applying thick creams even though I feel like the thin, almost liquid type of lotion does not do anything for my skin. So instead, I usually opt out for body lotion. When I saw this product on the commercial, I really want to give it a try. I have been using this everyday since I got it and I have to share it with you!
Here is how I use it. I would shower as usual, then apply this all over just like a normal body wash. After that just rinse it and dry myself with my towel. It is that easy! It leaves my skin super soft, smooth, moisturized and smelling awesome! The first time I used it, I thought the product was difficult to rinse off, because my skin was feeling really silky ( it reminds me of hair conditioner residue). Then I realized that there will be a layer of lotion on the skin (Duh!), the "residue" feeling goes away after I dry myself. My skin feels as soft the second day and I can still smell the product. It is not a perfume scent, it smells like the normal Nivea face cream! I encourage anyone who hates body lotion but needs moisturization to try.
2. Laneige Skincare + makeup
At the end of October, I finished all my previous skin care products. I decided to switch over my skincare products to Laneige skincare line. I bought the Laneige Hydration Trial Kit for $38 CAD that includes a multi cleanser, power essential toner, balancing emulsion, water bank serum, water bank moisture cream, and water sleeping mask. I also got a full size brightening sparkling water foam cleanser. So far I have been loving all the products, my skin feels hydrated and has no allergic reaction! I already bought the full size of the face cream and serum during vib sale! I think I'm ready to do an updated skincare routine post. There are no alcohol contained in any of these products!
I also finished my favorite foundation, the covergirl outlast fabulous foundation ( review here). I bought the Laneige bb cushion during the vib sale too. I'm in the shade light. This is so convenient to use, it looks natural on the skin too. I love that you get to control how much product you put on the skin without wasting a lot of product on your hands. This is about $44 CAD but it comes with a refill, so technically it's $22 per cushion.
3. Chanel Perfume
I have been obsessed with Chanel fragrance lately. I am especially in love with Chance-eau vive and Chanel no.5-premiere. Chance-eau vive is fresh and gives me feel energy, whereas the no. 5 makes me feel warm, sophisticated. I really like to use no.5 during colder days. The Chanel no. 5 premiere is a lighter, less concentrated version of the original no. 5 and it smells really nice. I never really enjoyed the smell of the original no. 5, it's way too strong and does not suit me at all.
4. YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in No.70 Le Nu
I found this mini YSL Trio during the VIB sale, I never knew they came out with this set because it wasn't on the website. I'm so glad I found this because this nude shade is perfect for me. It is really hard for me to find a nude shade that looks natural and doesn't make me look sick. The other nude lipstick that suits me is Naked from Urban Decay.
5. Sephora VIB Rouge Marc Jacobs Lipstick
One last thing... I qualified for VIB Rouge during the vib sale and I received a mini Marc Jacobs lipstick in the shade So Rouge as a welcoming gift. This is my first time trying a Marc Jacobs lipstick and I think I'm loving it. It is a beautiful true red! I believe this is a VIB Rouge exclusive shade, I'm so happy to receive this.
I think this is everything new from this month, I still love everything from previous months. I am currently trying out a retractable kabuki brush and a eye shadow quad from Chanel, so far so good, maybe it will be in my favorites next month! December is going to be crazy, good luck everyone!
Yours truly,
Ting

September 2015 Favorties
Hello,
As you could probably tell, I'm trying to test out products for sensitive skin. I can't believe I just recently tried this when I have been hearing people talking about this for so long, the formula is great , no scents , no bubbles just gently cleaning the face. It takes out my make up residues like no other face wash.
I know everyone starts their posts/ videos with, " I can't believe it's October", but I really wish September can be longer. I like that September feels like a fresh start, for school and as a reminder to complete my 2015 resolution because 2016 is coming!
Just an FYI, some of the photos are from previous posts, and some I found online because Vancouver has been so gloomy lately, I did not have a chance to take photos for the products properly.

This is a Soothing mask for sensitive skin. It claims that it is intensely moisturizing and soothing. It says to only use once or twice a week. I use this after I clean my face. You would apply this like a normal facial moisturizer. I like to apply a thick layer and rinse it off after 10~15 minutes. I like that there's no scent to it, just like the Biorderma cleansing water. My skin feels more calm after using it, it doesn't not dry out my face after rinsing it off. However, I would still apply more normal facial moisturizer after this.
2. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

I got this in Japan over the summer, but you can find this almost any where. This has been such a popular product and I totally understand why! It is a steaming eye mask that helps sooth your tired eyes. Every time I stay up late at night or when I have been using my phone, laptop for a long time, my eyes gets very dry and sore. I will just spend 10 minutes, have the mask on and relax. I find that it helps me sleep better or allows me to to continue my day without dry tired eyes. I also recommend this to any one who goes on the plane often, especially long distance. This works so well on the plane and prevents my eyes being dry and uncomfortable.
A more detailed review will be on the blog soon.

4. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I just posted my review on this last week, you can read it here if you have not already. I have been using this every single day and it definitely got rid of my dry patchy lips. Now, I can't sleep without putting this on.
Some updates since the review I posted. I have been using the sample size for a month now, I'm not even half way done! Sometimes I apply this on my lips in the morning before I put on make up, I because it lasts longer on the lips.

5. Etude House Puff& Brush Cleaning Mist
I think most of us don't have the time to clean our brushes every time we put on makeup. Sometimes I feel too lazy to clean the brush. Yes, I know it bad for my skin and it also hinders the performance of the brushes. To mitigate that, I bought an extra set of brushes to alternate. However, I don't have duplicates for all of my favorite brushes. I picked this up from Etude House just to try it out. This allows me to spot treat my brushes after I use it and let it dry. By the second day I'm putting on makeup, those brushes feel like clean, fresh brushes again. The container is a spray bottle, so you spritz some on the brushes and just swipe across a towel or paper towel to get rid of the makeup. For my beauty blender,
6. Chella Eyebrow Pencil
I mentioned this product in my other posts. For a while I have been using my Urban Decay Naked Basics for filling in my brows. Then comes September, I came across this product while I was going through makeup stash. Then I started to use it again, and since then I have been using it every single day. I am so sad I'm almost out of this product. I received this in my May IPSY bag, you can read my unboxing here
I also mentioned in my haul, that this product reminds me of the Anastasia Brow Wiz, so I wrote a side by side comparison post for the two products. You can find it here. The post also gives a more in depth review of the product.
The only thing I don't like about this is that it is so inaccessible for me (Fellow Canadians). Because this product costs $28 dollars and the shipping is $15. As much as I love this product, I am hesitant on spending my money on shipping.

7. Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Fresh Foundation
I don't think I have ever mentioned this foundation in my post. I have been loving this for a while now, I think ever since it came out. I use this almost every single day I put on foundation. This give a nice coverage but with a very natural finish. It is not a flat matte finish, but there are not shimmer or illuminating finish. It is light weight with buildable coverage. It is able to stay on my skin all day, even in the summer times. I think this is very comparable to the Estee Lauder Double Wear. I have both of the foundation and I find myself reaching for this more than the Estee Lauder one. If you would like to see a side by side comparison between the two product, let me know!

8. Etude House Dreaming Swan Veiling Pact
I talked about this in my recent Etude House haul, you can find it here. I have this compact in my purse, I use it through out the day to touch up my makeup or blot of some oily areas. The powder is so silky smooth and it does not get caught in the dry patches. However, I am still not used to using the puff, I think I still prefer using a brush. But carrying a puff is more convenient so I'm okay with it.
9. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in #62 Monte Carlo
I bought this from the duty free shop in the Taiwanese airport. It was much cheaper than Vancouver. I don't think this is from the recent collections but I love this color anyways. It is a wearable red color, I would describe it as more of a warmer red color. It is so perfect for fall and winter!
Rouge Coco Shine is also my favorite Chanel lipstick line. I like that the color is not as saturated, it sheers out on the lips, so I would say it is a more forgiving lipstick. It is also quite hydrating but it lasts on the lips for quite a long time.
I also found a dupe for this lipstick from the drugstore, if you want to see a dupe/ side by side comparison between the two products, leave me some comments or let me know!!
Well, I know this post is late but here you go. Nine of my favorites for the months of September! I hope you enjoy! There will be more reviews coming up in the next few weeks. Thank you for stopping by.
Yours Truly,
Ting.

July 2015 Favorites
Hello!
Wow, I really can't believe it is almost August! This means that I'm almost done with school and I get to travel again! Let's get started
Here are my July favorites
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess
I received this in my July IPSY Glam bag this month and I absolutely love it, I have been using it almost every day after I got it. You can read my review (here), if you haven't already.
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream with SPF 35
I have it in the shade light. I bought this with the Sephora superstar set during Christmas. I'm really happy this is full size! I think I've never mentioned this product on my blog before ( I'm not sure why). Sometimes I use it everyday, sometimes I don't even go near it. The reason is that the bb cream is quite thick, unlike other bb creams that's light weight and runny. I found that it is easy to get too cakey if you apply with your hands or brush. My favorite way to apply it is with my beauty blender. It gives nice coverage, brightens up my complexion and also provide sun protection( very important!!!) Even though it has SPF, it doesn't give me that white cast when I take flash photo.
With the beauty blender, I can achieve a light weight and medium coverage with the bb cream. I would say it's quite long lasting.
Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti
Yes it's straight up orange, but it's quite sheer. So when you apply it, you natural lip color with peek through, for me it creates more of a orangey red color!!! I love it!
If you are not familiar with Revlon Lip Butter, they are really creamy and most of the color are quite sheer. Most of them have sparkly glitter but this particular one is just glossy.
CoTz- Face Natural SPF 40
I did a review on this in my May IPSY Glam bag, read it (here) if you haven already. I have been using this because I've been going to the beach and lake. This is waterproof so I didn't need to worry about it sliding off my face. This has a sheer coverage but the product is quite thick. I like to apply this with my beauty blender because it is thick and has the consistency of Benefit Porefessional. I would not use this everyday because I typically need more coverage. However, I think this is great in the summer because it is waterproofed and it has SPF.
Be a Bombshell Lip Balm in Ruby
I also got this in my July IPSY Glam bag (here). I have this in my makeup bag since I got it. I really like the sheer coverage with red tint.
Keratherapy Keratin Infused Daily Smoothing Cream
I received this in my June Glam Bag, which I never wrote a post about (Sorry! I never got around to write it, and I think it's too late now, but I have a instagram photo of it here). I hated this product initially because it drives me crazy receiving hair products. However, I read the label and it says that it shortens hair drying time so I gave it a go. Guess what? It actually works! I like to twist my hair up with the towel after I wash them ( just like in the salon) and I'll usually leave it up for a few minutes so I can moisturize my face first. Then I will use squeeze some out and apply to my hair. I start from the end and move up. It helps that I don't need to spend that much time drying my hair!
That's all for my July favorites. I just realized many things are from my IPSY Glam bag, that means i am actually using those products and they actually have good products! ( not sponsored, I promise!) August is goi to be exciting, I can't wait!

June 2015 Favorites
Hello Hello!
1. Biore Powder Sheets
2. Maybelline Master Conceal
3. Skin Aqua SARAFIT Sunscreen SPF 50+
4. Benefit Majorette Blush
I have been really loving "orange" everything. Orange blush, lipstick, even purse( hehehe). This adds such a beautiful flush to the face and I love the scent. Some people think that the scent is too much but I don't mind it at all.
I don't have my own photo to show you because I only have it in a sample container from Sephora. ( I am definitely going to purchase the full size even though it is gigantic.) I will include a swatch photo here.
5. Colorpop blush in Fox
7. Colorpop lippie stix in Frida
Yours truly,
Ting.

It has been so long since I last wrote a blog post. It feels so good to be back! Even though I have not been posting any blog posts but I have been posting on Instagram! (@judyy116)
The month of June was hectic for me; meetings, midterm, travel....The weather was nice tho, maybe a little too nice (?!) I discovered some new favorites because of the HOT weather and I can't wait to share them with you.
1. Biore Powder Sheets
This is something I discovered in Taiwan and it has been a game changer. The product itself is like makeup remover sheets. The concept behind this product is like a "wet wipe" but when it dries, it feels like you applied powder. It also has a refreshing scent, floral or fruity. I chose the floral one. I first got it for the gym, to prevent myself from smelling bad after a workout. However, since it's super hot out, I actually bring it with me everywhere. It feels like "dry shampoo" but for your body, as it keeps you feel clean, smelling good! I have never seen this product in Canada, so I will definitely stock up when I travel to Taiwan next time.
2. Maybelline Master Conceal
I know this product has been out for awhile now, but I just got it last month. It was on sale, I couldn't resist. Even though I love my Match Perfect from Rimmel, I just wanted to explore something different. A little goes a long way with this product, I have been using my Beauty Blender to press it into my skin, and it gives a flawless and long lasting coverage. I think this product is too thick to use with a brush or finger and it can easily cake up if you use too much or with the wrong tool.
3. Skin Aqua SARAFIT Sunscreen SPF 50+
This has to be my favorite discovery this month. I have been on a hunt for sunscreen over the last two month. I never really like sunscreen, because of the texture and the scent and after feeling. However, this product is NOTHING like that.
It does not have the sunscreen smell, and it absorbs really fast without any sticky feeling. It feels moisturizing but very lightweight. It goes well underneath makeup. I applied a layer of foundation over the sunscreen and it was not cakey at all!!! (Hooray!) Also, it has no alcohol in it and it does not irritate my sensitive skin. In addition, it is sweat proof and waterproof, which means it's safe to use while working out or going to the beach!!! Don't worry, the sunscreen can be simply removed with facial soap or makeup remover.
This can be used on your body too! It is really inexpensive, less than $10 CDN (Around $250NTD). But again, I don't think this is available in Canada, so this will be on my stock up list for my trip in August.
4. Benefit Majorette Blush

5. Colorpop blush in Fox
I haul this in my last post, if you haven't read it, click here. This gives a natural pinky flush. It is neutral enough to go with many different looks and lip colors. I just love it!
6. Colorpop lippie stix in Clique
Again, this was hauled in my last post. It is a true orangey red color that is so perfect for summer. I bet you know why I love it so much (it's orange, duh!) It's so bright it just pop! I love to wear this when everything else is neutral, a little of the color just screams summer!!! This has a "matte" formula that is not drying at all, so I tend to forget it is matte. However, the color does transfer, so be careful when you are kissing around.

7. Colorpop lippie stix in Frida
This is my go to not-so-nude nude color, or as I call it the " summer nude". It has a satin finish so it does not dries out my lips. This color is transferable but it does stain the lips so you won't end up with patchy colors at the end.
Here are all my favorites for June 2015. What have you been loving in June? Share with me in the comments below, twitter (@jtingsdiary) or at instagram (@judyy116). Also let me know what other topics you want to see. I was wondering if I should do a shoes or purse haul(yes, I have been shopping), let me know! I hope you are enjoying the weather and having an awesome summer!

Ting.

May 2015 Favorites
Wow! I remember starting this blog with my April Favorites, it feels like April was just yesterday! I can't believe May is already over.
May was more of a "rediscover" month for me. I purchased some new products toward the end of May, but I could not include that in my favorites because some packages have not arrived yet. There are also products that I just purchased few days ago, I don't think it would be fair to say they are my May favorites. Let's get started!
1) Guerlain- La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette
The weather has been really warm here in Vancouver, I figured it was time to bring out my summer perfume stash. I've talked about this in a previous post (My Perfume Collection), you can click on the link and read more about it there!
2) Guerlain- Rouge Automatique in Mitsouko140
I got this lipstick last winter and never had a chance to wear it. Mitsouko 140 is a shimmery coral color with a mix of orange and pink. It definitely screams summer to me! I typically don't like shimmery/ frosty color but since it's a summer lipstick, I made an exception! The color fades through out the day; however, it fades out naturally and does not look patchy at all. The formula is quite smooth and not drying. Packaging looks luxurious, the gold and the automatic lever!!!I have to admit; however, when applying this lipstick, I feel that the packaging is a little too bulky, other than that it's awesome!
3)YSL VOLUPTÉ Sheer Candy - Glossy Balm Crystal Color in 15 Rose Candy
| Left to right: YSL, Guerlain |
I mentioned this in my April Favorites, check it out if you haven't already. This is truly an everyday color for me because the color is quite sheer and it's not frosty. The color stays on my lips for a long time and it does not dry out my lips. Also, it tastes yummy! This color is now only available on Sephora's website (exclusive color for Sephora). Go check it out!
4) ELF- Stipple Brush
This is a rediscover favorite. E.L.F brushes were the first ever brushes I bought when I first started. They are so affordable and most of them have pretty good quality. This one was from their Studio Line, $3 each. This stipple brush was meant for foundation, and that was the reason why I got it. However, I realized this brush is actually not dense enough for the flawless foundation look I like. Right now I'm using this brush for my blush. As you can see in the picture, the brush tip is pink. I like to dip this brush in my blush and stipple it on my face. It gives the blush a more natural look and it's fool proof because it allows me to build up the blush color layer by layer.
If you have a blush that is way too pigmented, you can try using a stippling brush. It will give you more control over how much color you want on your face.
5) ELF- Complexion Perfection "Cool"
Another rediscover product. This is actually my second repurchase. Like I mentioned earlier, E.L.F was the first makeup brand I have ever purchased from. This is one of the product I bought in my first purchase, and I loved it! After I finished the first one, I never bought one again because it is only available on the ELF website in the states. Fortunately, I received this as a gift recently and I finally remember how much I love this!
Anyways, this is a complexion perfection powder that has blue, pink, green and yellow powder. You need to use a fluffy powder brush to swirl is all around. Mine is in the color "cool" but I believe they came out with a "warm" tone also. This corrects my skin color really nicely. Lately when I don't feel like foundations or CC cream. I would apply concealer to needed area and use this powder all over the face. It sets my concealer and brightens up my skin. It's like magic!! This has no shimmer whatsoever so it's suitable for all skin type. Use a primer or moisturizer that suits your skin type underneath will give you a even better result.
6) Stila-Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Dark Brown
This is one of the best liquid eye liners I have ever tried. It is easy to control and it really stays on all day through rain or sweat without any primer. I have both the black and the dark brown one but I prefer dark brown because I think it looks more natural. One thing to remember is that it dries and set really fast, have your cotton swab and eye makeup remover ready to clean off the edges.
7) Urban Decay- 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil in Ozone
I received this in my May IPSY Glam Bag. I love it! I have been using it almost every day, It does not dry out my lips and it goes well under my lipstick. It grasps on to my lipstick and really help the lipstick color stay on longer. I've also noticed that it's easier to remove lipstick at the end of the day if I use this under the lipstick. I would definitely purchase the full size when I am finish this.
Well that's all for my May favorites! I know there's not much this month but a lot of the products I am currently using were favorites from last month, that's how much I love them! Subscribe to my blog if you don't want to miss my future posts, there may be a few hauls(?) first impressions(?) my collections(?) in the up coming weeks. haha Let me know what you were loving in May and also what you would like to see next!
